Stay Connected with Friendship Baptist Church

Our lively congregation welcomes families and youth with Wednesday evening services and Sunday School programming for adults and youth preceding our Sunday morning worship service.

Whether you arrive already on your path to salvation or are just beginning to find your way to God’s words, Friendship Baptist Church is a place to call your congregational home. Contact us. We look forward to seeing you.

We want to stay connected as a church family and also provide a way for those who are not yet in our family to keep in touch with us.

As life hands you challenges we hope you will contact us.

And, whether you participate in the comfort of your home with our library of past sermons and Bible studies or when you are tuning in on Sunday mornings to join us in active worship, we hope you will find comfort, solace,  joy and encouragement in the words of Jesus.

Come as you are, leave knowing you are loved by God and us!

Our Leadership

Ricky Neese, David Charles, Pastor DeWayne Crumley, Ronnie Hannah.

Deacon Ricky Neese

Genesis 3:19

By the sweat of your face You will eat bread, Till you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; For you are dust, And to dust you shall return.”

Ricky is the first to step forward with the open hand of help. With his physical labor or helping someone in need, Ricky’s love of the Lord, his deep knowledge of Scriptures makes him a foundation for our church.

Deacon David Charles

John 5:14-15

And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.

David has witnessed the power of God’s love in answered prayer. A businessman, a leader in the fire department, David is known as someone whose heart has led him to help others and to share the testimony of God’s love.

Deacon Ronnie Hannah

Matthew 13: 1-23

God knows just the right time to call a sinner to repentance and salvation. Many can hear the outward call of God, for the seed of God’s Word is cast all over, but not all the seed lands on “good soil” where it can take root and produce a harvest.

God saved Ronnie later in life. The special trust he now has with God is testimony that God knows just the right time to call. It is that renewed understanding that gives Ronnie a trusting relationship with the Lord to lean on Him daily and to reach out to others with the wonderful testimony of how God provides during days when you may feel you cannot take another step.

Music Director Dale Nunley

Romans 12

Dale Nunley is a Mississippi native and has had a lifelong love for God’s music. He understands that the premise for worship is bowing humbly before God and exalting Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords.

As the worship leader for Friendship Baptist Church, Dale uses principles from Romans 12 to help prepare humble hearts  before God, making God’s people ready to receive, and be changed by, the focal point of the worship service—His glorious and living Word.
