Ministry

“Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I repent of my sins and ask you to come into my heart. Save me and be the Lord of my life. Amen.”

Welcome to the Lord’s House

Our Church is rooted in the Bible verses of Proverbs 3:5, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding,” and Proverbs 3:6, “In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.

Friendship Baptist Church of Killen, Alabama, welcomes all those seeking to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior or to find a closer relationship with Jesus to join us.

Our Commitment to You

Friendship Baptist Church is home to a community of people who lift you in sorrow, celebrate with you in joy and seek together through prayer, fellowship and learning to follow Jesus.

For each of us there are times of doubt, reflection and a need to seek solace. We are all filled with daily hopes, longings, joys and celebrations.

Each day, as we find those moments to turn to the still places within our own heart. As we reflect on our own pathway toward a more perfect relationship with God, we speak with Jesus as  savior, companion and friend.

We encourage you to come as you are, and we pray that you will leave our service knowing you are loved by God and by each of us.

Lord, what must I do to be saved?

Acknowledge You Are A Sinner – Romans 3:23

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (NKJV)

Sin’s Consequences – Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ((NKJV)

Jesus Paid the Price For Your Sin – Romans 5:8

But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (NKJV)

You Must Repent – Luke 13:3

I tell you, no: but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. (NKJV)

Confess and Believe – Romans 10:9-10

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (NKJV)

Pray this prayer or a similar prayer from your own heart: “Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I repent of my sins and ask you to come into my heart. Save me and be the Lord of my life. Amen.”
